The Tiki Lounge was created as our chill out room, so feel free to bring your i-pod and hook into our Bose system and enjoy your own tunes or use ours for a happy mix.
During the post-war years, a Polynesian theme was sweeping America as returning servicemen brought back memorabilia and souvenirs from their tours of the South Pacific. Tiki themed restaurants and bars like Trader Vic’s and Don the Beachcomer were sprouting up in all major cities, and smaller versions built by local restaurateurs were also proving popular.
The laid back feeling and intoxicating cocktails were a perfect combination for nights out after a long day at the office. For the 60’s set, this was their escape from reality.
We have recreated the classic Tiki theme here at The Golf Club and offer those cocktail classics and Polynesian favorite dishes for your enjoyment. Come and relax with us with the cool breezes up on the rooftop and wind down from a tough day on the course. Mahalo!
