TGC Competition golf results for week ending 12th April
A full van and the local guys travel to Green Valley for our normal Monday. The course is in great condition. The Ladies Thai event was last week and we are benefiting from the greens and fairways. Today was pretty special. One of our locals and a great supporter of Project Smile told me he had his best round of 10 years. Not only did he win the comp but also the near pin. I collected the pin as I played in the last group and could believe he missed the putt. After seeing his score and not knowing he was about to shoot a 79 he must have had to be nervous over the putt. Jim Dundon US lefty 45 points from 16 “goes back to work on the weekend, thanks for great support over your break Aki Yamamoto 42 points from 21 three guys with 37, Butch, Micky Beresford lefty and Fred Birch
Thursday was the last golf day for this week. Its quiet this week before Songkran begins Saturday. Treasure Hill is in terrific condition and although we just had one van the weather and playing conditions were good and enjoyed by all. There were two guys not in the competition just playing to establish handicaps. Captain 39 points and Allan Frandson 36 points off 18 the near pin Project Smile was won again by Stephen Downs US
This weekend we see Stephen Downs US go home after coming for two weeks and staying 3 months. Project Smile thanks you for your strong support.
