TGC Golf Competition results for week ending June 14
Sunday mornings we use the van to go to Waterside Driving Range practice facility. The design and quality of the range is world class, lacking nothing. Sunday the 16th PING are having a demo day with fittings and trial available. If you would like and are free just put your name on the sheet, the van leaves 10.30am and returns 1pm.

Our normal Monday Green Valley was just perfect. The entire time we played under overcast conditions. The course is looking for a drink but is still very playable. It played better than the scores for the day reflect. two in a row for Gary Emmett AUS 35 points from 13 two with 34 points, Ed Junger and JP Thomas
Rain delays Tuesday at Pattana. We had a 20-minute delay for rain and then a small walk from the shelter back to the playing hole. The starter bumped us from starting on A to C as there were some 5 balls that potentially could have held us up. We finished on B still dry. Robbie Taylor AUS 36 points off 14 Steve Rawlings AUS 35 off 4 no-one hit the par 3 for the Project Smile near Pin. This was the hole where Pierre got his last “hole in one”
My favourite track in the province. Khao Kheow, played C & A, B was not available. An early start saw in under 4 hours. No rain and the heat was ok. I think everyone made a donation to the water god. You just think you have worked it out and Pete Dye just knew better. Still a pleasure to play here. The talk in the van ride home, what time does the US Open start on TV tonight? George Scott 40 points off 30 Butch Furneaux AUS 38 points off 11 Zed Beloglavec won the near pin Project Smile, just back from 3 week in Europe
