Monday, quiet day at Green Valley. The rain held off. The course is becoming really well presented and that is because next week there is a tournament scheduled. My brother is in town and we played we Peter and JP Thomas. Peter was the winner and played very well. Next Monday we are scheduled for Laem Chabang.
Peter Thomas 43 points off 21 Gary Emmett 41 points off 16 our old favourite Peter LeNoury 39 off 13 Captain Project Smile near pin, missed the putt
One van for Pattana Tuesday. The course presented well as usual. Played A & B in that order. A couple of guys still hit in the water on B1, that’s the hole referred to as the aircraft carrier. Played in overcast conditions with no rain. Always a good result. Zed Beloglavic AUS 41 points off 17 and Project Smile near pin Peter Grant AUS Gold Coast 36 points off 6, a real golfer
Fine weather for Khao Kheow Thursday. We played B & C from the yellow tees, one back from the blue and a few holes very close to the blue. The course played longer than usual and consequently no-one beat their handicap. In excellent order as usual. Coming home in the van takes a little longer now as Highway 7 cannot be accessed from the crossover road from KK. We are forced to travel up the service road for some 20 kls which adds to the drive home. Zed Beloglavic AUS 35 points off 17 Gary Smedley AUS (young brother) 33 points off 12 and the Project Smile near pin
Finished the week off at Silky Oak. This course is also looking forward to some rain. The fairways good or dry. I think the only watering completed may be greens and tees. Some fairways were perfect. Played the white tees. Robbie Taylor AUS 39 points off 13 Ken Grimes 37 off 18 Captain Project Smile near pin, missed the putt
