Fantastic weather for Green Valley Monday. Rainy season has finished and all the courses are beginning to dry out, Green Valley is no exception. The fairways look a little dry with the greens fast and hard. I heard a new guy say today that the design does not have two holes the same. The course did not worry these guys. Peter Thomas UK 46 points off 20 Tommy Balch SLV Tee US 43 points off 31 and our old favourite Peter LeNoury GNR 41 points off 15 and Project Smile near pin Went home on the weekend Dan Dietz and Mike Omiya, thanks for your support on your holiday
11.30 tee time for Pattavia Century Tuesday. One van nearly full except for Pierre who fell ill overnight and could not make the journey. The course presented well. For those abroad the greens in the beginning were short , difficult and fast. The green keepers have this under control now. They leave the grass a little longer which has given the punters greater chance of stopping the ball when above the hole. The Project Smile hole is number 17 and long and not easy. From time to time there is no one on the green. Tuesday two guys not only hit the green but made the putts. The unlucky punter Ian Brimble. Dave Rose US 39 points off 4, bragged to me about no 3 putts Bob Catlow AUS 33 points off 20 Dave Cloke UK Project Smile near pin and made the putt
Thursday, one of my favourite courses, Parichat Links. For the first half of the round the course was windy by a club or two. The course continues to improve with the design settled and now completing the final presentation. I describe the course as a thinking man’s course. A single digit player UK thought it was great and wants to play again at the first opportunity. Robbie Taylor AUS 36 points off 13 two with 33 points, Captain and Ken Grimes AUS off 19 Peter Williamson Project Smile near pin and missed the putt

Finished the week with a late start at Eastern Star. The weather was a little warmish with a strong breeze for most of the round. The course is very dry and hard giving you great value for low drives with plenty of run. The down fall is the course has plenty of water to catch you if your direction is a little off. The greens were also very hard and tough to read, a heavy reliance on the knowledge of the caddies. The winners circle reflects the difficulty of the course. Blake Hanna CAN 32 points off 18 Nick Fazakerly 29 points off 7 and the Project Smile near pin, to forgetting to mention he made the putt.
