Scheduled for Green Valley but advised Sunday another tournament was going to take place and we were bumped to Silky Oak Monday. The weather started warm (especially for one English guy who only flew in overnight) and then overcast for a short time become dark clouds arrived. We did not get wet but I was confident rain was imminent. Mick Beresford UK 37 points off 13, Project Smile near pin and putts for 2 points Peter Thomas UK 34 points off 19
Tuesday Pattana. This was our second day of late starts to take advantage of cheap prices. Our tee time was 11.22 and the price was 1250 bht all in. We got 20 minutes of rain but played through. With the tee time, travel etc we were back at the club by 5 pm and completed the presentation. Played A & B and in excellent order as expected Curt Smith 37 points off 22 two guys with 32 points Zed Beloglavic and Paul Summerfield UK off 11 Nobody hit the green for Project Smile

Thursday Pattavia Century. The greens were a little grainy making speed difficult to judge. We had just had a shower when the heavens opened up and continued for most of the ride home in the van. Great judgment for the tee time. 55 Curt Smith CAN 37 plus the Project Smile near pin with Paul Summerfield UK also 37 two guys with 36 Zed and Richard Hale
Finished the week off at Parichat Links. I was only told Friday that the Thai lady who owns Parichat is named Parichat. I wonder what her car number plate says? This course continues to improve week after week. I see improvements on other courses in staggered stages. Construction work continues on a daily basis. The greens are still a tough read but with caddies a little easier. Captain 39 points off 17 two guys with 38 Curt Smith CAN and Ed Karvois US and a really funny guy, the van was alighted on the ride home.
