TGC Golf Competition results for week ended July 12th
Dual venues for Monday. Laem Chabang and Rayong Green Valley for the locals. I played LC, once again in great order. We arrived early and our original tee was shifted to allow us to start. Again, all three groups got around in less than 4 hours. Every aspect of the presentation is with out fault. Captain 38 points off 17 Mike Omiya 37 points off 9 (a real golfer) Project Smile near pin Steve Sweeney, missed the putt
Most times when I complete these write ups its positive. Tuesday at Emerald was a shocker. The greens were sanded without the follow up work. Maybe they are waiting for the wet season rains to wash the sand away or in. Nobody but our two groups on the course, finished just outside 3 hours. the Shier 38 points off 15 two with 29 points, Sugar and Bob Catlow who also won the Project Smile near pin and sank the putt
Thursday played Khao Kheow. Just a delight, played B & C. Played the front men’s tee, its rainy season and consequently no run. For the long hitters driver pitching but for the majority of the field driver 6 iron or rescue. Great weather for the day and the course was not busy. The greens were just perfect for the average player. Captain 41 points and Project Smile near pin, missed the putt Bob Catlow AUS 38 Points off 17

Australia lost the cricket. The good news Navy on Friday with good weather and the greens were a treat. The fairways are what was expected but the surprize was the water level in the lake was really down. They have plenty of catchment so they must of not been getting some of the heavy downpours that has been seen in Pattaya. Zed Beloglavic AUS 36 points off 15 Nick Handscombe 27 off 12 Nobody hit the Project Smile near pin
